The website will be migrated into a content management system(CMS). I have created a custom home page, as the first step in customizing and migrating the entire site. The owner wants a cleaner less cluttered look.
The site was previously developed in ASP , using the comersus shopping cart software. (I don’t know why), it was using an access database that was very insecure (it was downloadable). On my recommendation the owner agreed to purchase a PHP Mysql open source software solution. After I installed and configured the solution I added an extra restricted area for the realtors. This involved adding another table to the database and creating the login/logout and session portion for this usergroup.

The owner of this site wanted to spruce up the header and navigation on his site.
I also advised the owner of the site on usabiltiy issues related to information gathering from his visitors and the navigation of the site.

I created this website table-less, I hand coded the entire site adhearing to W3C web standards for XHTML and CSS. Aside from offering web design services, I also implemented an affiliate program with templatemonster, to sell templates. The contact form on this website has a php function to send form submission information as an email. This was done in order to avoid putting an email address on a web page where they can be exposed to spammer spiders that crawl the web picking up email addresses to add to their spam lists.

The site above was done for a graduate student who was running short on time and needed to meet a deadline for a final project. She had all of the content ready to go, so all I did was create this simple site rapidly (2hrs), ftp’d everything up to her server and it was ready to go. The site included a splash page. The URL is from a school server and might not be available for viewing.
